Pretty sure the main issue here is PvE skills being changed b/c of PvP issues. Ofc it makes sense to change things for the masses b/c few cry so loud. /sarcasm

Yea, that is the issue. In the same way it is not right to change skills in pvp because of pve issues, it isnt right to change skills in pve because of pve issues. There was no reason they couldn't have split the skill.

Are we both talking about the same format? We are both talking about PvE, right? The skill was definitely not elite power in the PvE format since the energy denial was pretty much useless and the damage was single target. There is no need to exagerate.

Like I said before, I dont think this is a very big issue. It really isnt all that big of a deal. Its not anything to cry about. What I am saying is that the skill was not overpowered in PvE, and yet it was nerfed there anyways because of issues in PvP. That just doesnt make sense... at all.

I was of the impression that Mind Wrack was abused primarily with non-hex skills anyway. what's the big deal?

Now that hexes such as Panic and Empathy no longer trigger it, hey ho back we go to tabbing through the off targets and hexing them instead, which isn't as valuable. Please revert for PvE.
It promoted rolling your face on your keyboard.

/signed for OP's suggestion
Wasn't nerfed to oblivion, still strong enough to see use. No effort should be put forth to revert it for pve because of minor complaints.

Truth.

The deal is, take any bit of power away from a skill, and no matter how strong it still is, bad players will come on guru and make a thread to have it fixed/buffed/etc.

Yeah, i'm too cool to let myself be baed and just whine for buffs/reverts instead of just using different skills/modifying my builds to deal with skill changes.

MW needs a complete rollback in pvp, it's still OP as hell.

It's fine the way it is in pve

Dealing with changes and not agreeing with them are too different things. In this case, the change was completely unnecessary.

Necessary or not, the change had little effect on the effectiveness of the skill.

Hell, and here I was using mindwreck pre nerf patch with interrupts.

Oh wait, my build is still just as good as before.... Clearly not "nerfed to oblivion."

The nerf was necessary because of the 1/4 cast spammable spells and that it stacked strongly with Soul Barbs.

You didn't read the thread or the original post did you? Nobody that I know of uses Soul Barbs in PvE.

I would have titled this thread differently if I knew that people wouldn't read the thread and that I can't change the thread title.
